It even works without.. I (and the netapplet) got confused since the assignment
of interfacenames changes. 

Regular bootup:
NIC = eth1
wifi = eth0

When hipernating the wifi gets unloaded and e100 stays in, so the assignment
changes:
wifi = eth1
NIC = eth0

Thus confusing the netapplet. 

The good thing is that both interfaces are functional.
