I have problem with my iPod since breezy (now I use dapper)
each time I try to sync it (through gtkpod) or when I try to retrieve the files
form the iPod, I had these messages in the /var/log/messages files

Nov 29 19:47:26 linbox kernel: [4296228.827000] lost page write due to I/O error
on sda2

I use usb high speed bus

ii  linux-image-2.6.12-9-k7              2.6.12-9.23                         
Linux kernel image for version 2.6.12 on AMD
ii  linux-image-k7                       2.6.12.16                           
Linux kernel image on AMD K7.

I don't know whick package to select so I choose kernel-package.
The sync and copy works well with windows, so it seems not to be a problem with
the iPod itself.
