I have the same problem with final Breezy (kernel 2.6.12-9-686) on a HP HX8220
(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/HPNX8220).
The battery doesn't get detected, also the temperatures on laptop doesn't get
correctly read by acpi, and that makes the laptop to shutdown with a "Critical
Temperature Reached" event. Don't know if both problems are related...

I have to use Hoary kernel to make the computer work, so plaese, fix this bug!
