------- Additional Comments From Joerg-Cyril.Hoehle at T-Systems.com 2005-11-09 14:10 UTC -------
The #/' key still works but this time, I get the
exact same message as the other reporters -- code 0xaa or setkey e02a
instead of the 0x5d one I previously got.
Currently this only happens when the NUMLOCK is set, with the DEL and
cursor keys.
Nov 9 14:52:05 localhost kernel: [4298890.335000] atkbd.c: Unknown key pressed
(translated set 2, code 0xaa on isa0060/serio0).
Nov 9 14:52:05 localhost kernel: [4298890.335000] atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes
e02a <keycode>' to make it known.
Yet showkey -s reports e0 53 for the DEL key, not e02a.
I've not yet seen showkey report e02a for some key. Curiously enough,
the arrow and DEL keys continued to work, even though each keystroke
added 4 lines to kern.log.
Again, "/etc/init.d/hotkey-setup stop" ends this weird behaviour.
I now removed those lines from /usr/share/hotkey-setup/generic.hk
