As i reported in bug 9945, I, too, have an Audigy2, specifically the platinum
edition.  No sound.  checked mixer levels.  It is recognized in the mixer but
still no sound.  My system is based on the Abit IS7 motherboard (intel 865
chipset) with a P4 & ht enabled (smp kernel), 1gb ram, sata HDs, and has a
Hauppauge WinTV PCI tv card (bt878, i believe).
