Summary: keyboard went crazy after a suspend
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: linux
        AssignedTo: fabbione at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: marius at pov.lt
         QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

This happened to me a few times (not always): after an ACPI suspend and resume,
the keyboard goes crazy and starts repeating the same key (apparently randomly).
If I try to press keys, the key that gets repeated changes.
Suspending/resuming doesn't fix the problem. Hibernating and resuming doesn't
either. Neither does switching to a different virtual console. An external USB
keyboard works fine, and so does the trackpoint and touchpad (this is a T42
laptop). Rebooting fixes the problem.

dmesg output shows a bunch of messages like this:

atkbd.c: Unknown key pressed (translated set 2, code 0xfa on isa0060/serio0).
atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes e07a <keycode>' to make it known.
atkbd.c: Unknown key released (translated set 2, code 0xf0 on isa0060/serio0).
atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes e070 <keycode>' to make it known.
atkbd.c: Unknown key pressed (translated set 2, code 0x7a on isa0060/serio0).
atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes 7a <keycode>' to make it known.

I think this happens when I press a key (e.g. CapsLock) after I press Fn+F4 to
suspend, but before the laptop actually goes to sleep.
