Summary: New kernel (2.6.12) reboot when X starts
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: P2
         Component: linux
        AssignedTo: fabbione at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: vuntz at gnome.org
         QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

Since 2.6.12 has been installed, I've never been able to boot and use the
computer: when X starts, the computer reboots. It works nicely with 2.6.10.

I don't know what information I can provide to debug this, and this might be a X
bug. Or something else... But it only happens with linux 2.6.12. If you can tell
me what informations I can provide, I'll provide it.
