The -ck patches (http://members.optusnet.com.au/ckolivas/kernel/) really improve
performance for both desktops and servers. Some benchmarks are available on the
mailing list, http://news.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel.ck . Could these patches,
or atleast some of them, be added to the Ubuntu kernels?
