Hi,
yes we know the problem, and the patch that hit hoary was a big mistake.
Upstream itself contacted us to revert such a driver because it's far
from being stable and it can cause data loss.
There is a thread about it on our kernel-team mailing list.
We are not going to merge this driver until upstream will confirm that's
stable enough.
