Summary: kernel 2.6.12-3-686-smp crashes when unmounting ntfs
volumes
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: i386
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: linux
AssignedTo: fabbione at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: ddt at dtc.ch
QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
Exact package: linux-image-2.6.12-3-686-smp (2.6.12-3.3)
I have two ntfs volumes (v3.1, created under Windows 2003). I can mount them
without any problem, but the kernel crashes each time they are unmounted
(manually or when halting/rebooting). There is nothing in dmesg, the only thing
I can do is using magic keys.
