Summary: "program cdparanoia not setting count and/or reply_len
properly"
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: linux
AssignedTo: ben.collins at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: desrt at desrt.ca
QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
When I rip CDs I get a lot of this in dmesg. This causes CDs to rip slower than
they otherwise would.
There's a reasonably good explanation of what's going on here.

It seems that the short-term quickfix (until upstream kernel and cdparanoia get
their respective acts together) is to remove the debugging code.
