With:
   Linux este 2.6.15-9-386 #1 PREEMPT Wed Dec 21 14:24:17 UTC 2005 i686 GNU/Linux

Same problem as before.  And this one doesn't even have SMP.

  It used to work fine; and works fine in the stable kernel, 2.6.14.4.  Besides,
I need this for my experiments... :P

  I'm not sure I can do this.  It sounds complicated.  And do you think the
brctl exe can run with klibc?  Maybe I can try running it in a root-jail in a
tmpfs instead?
