Then you can boot the latest dapper livecd from here:

http://cdimage.ubuntulinux.org/releases/dapper/flight-2/

The problem is this:

1) This may be fixed in the latest kernels, so there's no need for me to go
hunting down a bug that may be fixed.

2) Even if we do find the cause, it is not likely to be fixed in breezy (it's
only taking security updates at the moment).
