No, the vertical axes are reversed, with no movement on the horizontal axes
until the mouse button is pressed, at which point the cursor moves right and
gets stuck at the edge of the screen.

I tried booting with the live CD (kernel 2.6.15-8-386) and everything worked
great but running the same kernel on my dapper installation gives the same problem.

I'm running xorg 6.8.2-77, if that helps...
