Thank you all so much for your time and effort.  This bug has been fixed and is
no longer an issue.  Ubuntu Dapper Flight CD 2 fixes this problem.  Ubuntu
successfully boots and operates without needing any parameters from the default
settings.  You can now mark this bug as FIXED!!!  =D
