[Bug 17615] Laptop goes through shutdown routine, screen blacks, hard drive still running, computer does not turn off and reboot. Applies to mulitple versions of laptops.

You can tell me if dapper and it's kernel fix this problem. I've not said that
anything is solved.

The situation is that nothing but security fixes are going into breezy, so this
issue is only going to get resolved in dapper in the 2.6.15 kernel line.
