 This was a breezy install.   
   
The problem is probably the memory map on the Compaq. Some have suggested there is a memory hole   
from 640K to 1MB. I could never get a breezy install to recognize the memory installed (320MB) on   
the Compaq correctly.   
   
I have long since abandoned this project. The hardware is gone. It was a bad idea in the first   
place. You have better things to do with your time.
