You can see i have a second ide controller.
Unbuntu found it and also the ide devices but it mix the devicenames
(this is normal but i dont know why linux it does)
So i allways give the kernel the boot-option "ide=reverse"

my menu.lst (why does ubuntu not usegrub.conf?):
...
/vmlinuz-2.6.12-10-686 root=/dev/hda3 ro ide=reverse quiet splash
...

But i cant give this boot-option to breezy by a fresh new install (it is allways
ingnored)
The only know way for me is to remove the ide device install "Brezzy" edit
/boot/grub/menu.lst,
powerdown and plugin the ide device.
