Update: I tried the 2.6.15-7 kernel (as of Dec 7) and with a Yukon II nic the
sky2 (open source) module is loaded in place of the sk98lin (proprietary)
module. This was trialed before breezy was released and considered too unstable
as the network would go down after several minutes of operation. The latest
version is definitely more stable although it seems to go up and down a bit. My
dmesg gives:

after about 40 minutes of use. I am not sure whether this behaviour is due to my
ISP however so other testers with a Yukon II would be helpful for testing
stability. Anyway Hemminger (the kernel network developer responsible for sky2)
seems to be making a lot of progress in debugging sky2....
