since installing the last k7 kernel (2.6.12.10) my system crashes, shows
unexpected behaviour, sometimes apps hanging for some time (unresponsive).
booting with 2.6.12.10-386 kernel seems to resolve problems.

my system is Athlon-XP 2600+
ATI 9600
ubuntu breezy (root, home and swap partitions)

I'll go back to 2.6.12.9, no problems there
