Hi,
I tried suspend to RAM again a couple of days ago. Now it works!
I don't believe I changed anything on the machine. I suppose that some of the
breezy-updates that I installed since may have brought the functionality back again.
(the machine has all of the security updates & kernel 2.6.12-9.23)
Therefore, I recommend installing breezy-updates to people with similar problems.
In summary, suspend to disk and to RAM now both work on my Fujitsu Lifebook
C1110, with Hoary and Breezy. Great!
Regards,
Jörg Höhle.
