        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED

         Component: linux

Preparing to replace linux-image-686 2.6.12.11 (using
.../linux-image-686_2.6.12.12_i386.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement linux-image-686 ...
Setting up linux-image-2.6.12-8-686 (2.6.12-8.12) ...
cpio: ./etc/udev/rules.d/001.rules: No such file or directory

On my system /etc/udev/rules.d/001.rules is a dangling symlink.
Should this result in a cpio error message? Maybe.
