We've had reports of T43s and T41s working fine, so I'm at a bit of a loss.
Steve, you never mentioned what changes you made in order to enable suspend on
lid close. Commenting out that configuration line will not do that. Sam, could
you possibly try with the latest acpi-support and acpid packages?
