Hi,

I have a wireless card that uses ipw2200. I have updated my kernel through
apt-get many times but the ipw2200 kernel module version never changes. It stays
at 0.19.

On http://ipw2200.sourceforge.net/#downloads you can see that there's a 1.0.6
version available that includes all the fixes released since 0.19 (there are 8
more releases in between that ubuntu did not include).

I have seen that people have been successfully incorporating this into the
ubuntu kernel manually so there should not be an incompatibility issue.

Could we expect to see the latest driver in the next ubuntu kernel update ?

Thanks.
