Summary: Wishlist: Should a new linux-image-k8 could be provided
                    in breezy?
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: linux-meta
        AssignedTo: debzilla at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: marco.amadori at gmail.com
         QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

I saw in debian (arch=i386) the package kernel-image-2.6.11-9-amd64-k8 that should offer on i386 platform the
capabilities to lauch amd64 binaries and having enabled opteron and athlon64 (k8 :-) ) compiling kconfig
options.

If the last linux-image-2.6-k7 in breezy could not provide this feature, why not provide by linux-meta also a
"linux-image-2.6-k8" (for i386 arch) package to have the features of the above mentioned package?

So there is already an equivalent to kernel-image-2.6.11-9-amd64-k8 in breezy ? (i386)

Sorry for be pedantic on "(i386)"...
