This looks to me like a kernel issue.  If I add a sleep (5 seconds) before the
nfsmount call, I am no longer able to reproduce the problem.
Also, when it does occur, it loops forever timing out, and never finishes the mount.

It seems like some sort of race between initializing the network device and
doing the NFS mount.
