Summary: kernel breaks vesafb
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: linux
AssignedTo: fabbione at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: tjaalton+ubuntu at cc.hut.fi

As of last wednesday/thursday I can't get the console to use vesafb. I've used
"vga=0x31A" appended to the kernel parameters, and I know for certain that
couple of days earlier console worked fine. Something with initramfs/usplash?
