Summary: kernel 2.6.12 breaks touchpad behaviour
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: linux
        AssignedTo: fabbione at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: joerg.unglaub at gmail.com
         QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

I am missing some feature in touchpadusage.
until kernel 2.6.10 it was possible to tap-tap-drag to move sliders and windows
or only tap-tap-hold to trigger sliderarrows frequently.

this is missing since 2.6.11 no guess why.

The touchpad is no synaptics it plays as PS/2 mouse "ImPS2" driver.
Laptop is a Clevo/Kapoc 2200C with sis630 chipset.
Synaptics driver fails. must be kernel related.

any Ideas?
