Summary: BeFS issues with the new kernel
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: P2
         Component: linux
        AssignedTo: fabbione at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: rainfalling at yahoo.com
         QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

I recently upgraded my Warty install to Hoary and now I'm having trouble reading
BeFS partitions with the new 2.6.10-7 kernel, both the 386 and the 686-smp
package. It mounts just fine but if I'm trying to view a directory with nautilus
it gives me an error "The foldes contents could not be displayed". If I boot up
with the old kernel it works just fine. So there's something fishy with the new
kernel and the BeFS driver.
