We do enable DMA on hard disks automatically (the kernel handles this, and has
its own blacklists).

This bug is about a specific circumstance where DMA was not enabled by default.
The cause is not clear, and I'm not sure that this bug was ready to be closed.
Since the disk in question is /dev/hda, it's quite likely the root disk, and
had sata_sil loaded from the initrd.
