Summary: ATI radeon won't work. At all.
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: linux-restricted-modules
        AssignedTo: daniel.stone at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: the.unforgiven at comcast.net
         QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

For some random reason i can not for whatever reason get the ATI drivers to work
with my ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 256Meg modle. I have an Asus A7N8X-d mobo.
here is the output of dmesg, lspci, and lspci -n followed by my Xorg.conf
followed by my glxinfo and after this my /var/log/Xorg.0.log. What baffles me
the most is how my glxinfo dosn't show DRI as being on. That i truly don't
understand.
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks and have a great day.
