gnome-applets (2.27.4-0ubuntu1) karmic; urgency=low
* New upstream version (LP: #406768):
- General:
+ Clean up GTK_ includes (Luis Menina).
+ Fix the NetworkManager autoconf script (Callum McKenzie).
- Invest Applet:
+ Allow the user to add their own labels as well as the ticker
symbol (Enrico Minack).
+ Fix a crasher (Enrico Minack) (LP: #280993).
+ Make the selction of stocks nicer (Enrico Minack).
+ Select the newly added stock for editing (Enrico Minack).
- Stickynotes:
+ Only save when we need to, not repeatedly (Callum McKenzie).
- Trash Applet:
+ Move markup out of the translatable strings.
* debian/rules:
- Disable battstatus applet (see discussion at
https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-desktop/2009-August/ \
002183.html)
* debian/control:
- Bump libxklavier-dev build-dep to 4.0.
- Remove build-dep on libpolkit-gnome-dev and change libpolkit-dev
build-dep to libpolkit-gobject-1-dev (>= 0.92).
- gnome-applets recommends policykit-1-gnome rather than
policykit-gnome.
- Don't build-depend on libhal-dev, libapm-dev or liboobs-dev.
* Dropped debian/patches/01_distclean.patch - merged upstream.
* debian/patches/85_polkit1.patch:
- Port cpufreq-selector to polkit-1 (patch from GNOME Bug #585307).
* debian/patches/86_deprecate_battstatus.patch,
debian/patches/87_deprecate_modemlights.patch:
- Correctly deprecate the battstatus and modemlights applets by
making them Null applets to not break panel config's on upgrade.
* debian/gnome-applets.gconf-defaults:
- Remove obsolete default.
* Refreshed patches:
- 09_modemlights_use_new_gst.patch
- 98_autoreconf.patch
* debian/patches/81_silent_applet_cleaning:
- Make sure that the deprecated applets are still cleaned from the
panel config, and silence a compiler warning.
* Dropped obsolete patches:
- 09_modemlights_use_new_gst.patch (modemlights will no longer be
built).
- 13_battstat_measuring_more_appropriate.patch
- 14_battstat_enable_pmi.patch
