nis (3.17-18ubuntu1) karmic; urgency=low

  * Merge with Debian unstable; remaining Ubuntu changes:
    - ypbind-mt-1.20.1/src/ypbind_dbus_nm.c: Replace
NM_DBUS_SIGNAL_STATE_CHANGE with static string value, to build with
      our NetworkManager package.

nis (3.17-18) unstable; urgency=low

  * Apply patch from Didier Roche <didrocks at ubuntu-fr.org> removing the
stop links for the init script, providing improved shutdown times by
avoiding the need to wait for the daemons to exit (closes: #497849).
  * Use --no-limit-check by default to allow very long lines in NIS
databases. Thanks to Mattias Wikstrom <burke at yagrebu.net> for
    pointing this out (closes: #117907).
