What's the default device which MAAS provision OS in ?

I realize this is more of a MaaS question but is there any documentation on how this will work? In particular I'd like to see an option to select which type of storage is used for the root file system (e.g. Hd vs ssd vs nvme) when multiple medium are available in a machine.
