The monitoring story for Juju environments is definitely something we're
tracking closely. There are a multitude of great monitoring platforms
out there, and we certainly don't expect any one to have special
treatment with regards to charm store policy

We use Nagios internally, so we need that compatibility to deploy charms
into our own production environments. We'll encourage our folks to
develop subordinates for their charms that know how to monitor their
services' health and can relate to (at a minimum) the
nrpe-external-master charm.
