We do have:
  https://launchpad.net/~juju/+archive/experimental

which has some experimental mongodb builds, and
  https://launchpad.net/~juju/+archive/devel

Which has devel releases of juju-core itself.

Once we have the devel release stable enough for backporting, we
intend to have stable juju-core packages here:
  https://launchpad.net/~juju/+archive/stable

- From what I see, when you bootstrap juju-core cloudinit is supposed to
add ppa:juju/experimental (so you get the right version of Mongo on a
Precise instance). However, that might only be in the 1.11 series, and
not the 1.10 stable release.

So while we aren't quite there yet, it is intended that we'll have a
PPA that makes it easy to work on Precise.
