This is very interesting, and definitely deserves further discussion.

What support would you expect or like to see in the bundle format
for this kind of thing? Note that currently the format specifies
a topology, but does not state how that topology should be
mapped to an existing environment (that aspect is left deliberately
unspecified for now).
