The question of what to do with tools is one reason I mentioned to you
guys that I preferred an ACL-based solution to the hidden random key
design you went for. Note though that provided you have a (potentially
MAAS-specific) means of retrieving tools, you can code this however
you want. It's just that having something that can be set to shared
access in file storage would have meant being able to share more code
across ec2/openstack/maas providers. Don't be scared to submitting
changes to juju-core if changes on the trunk branch break what you're
working on.

Have you got the google doc for the maas file storage changes around
still? I went looking for it just now but couldn't find it.
