Thank you for doing my work. Too bad that that your decision to do
something *completely different* than what we agreed on has created a
vacuum in the development process.

If you are so keen on doing this, by all means, please continue. I'll
find something else to do... However, in the future please don't
misinform your colleagues about your willingness to do certain things
and tell them when you change your mind about what you promised to do.
