Hi all,
as discussed in Copenhagen we currently try two different approaches for the lxc integration: a native Go implementation directly using system calls etc and a wrapper around the command line tools of lxc. Today I
- changed my quick Copenhagen hack into a pure wrapper package with create, clone, start, stop, wait, and info;
- built a little command line front-end using this package to perform the operations based on its arguments.
It's nice to see how seamless it works, how fast a container can be cloned and how fast they can be started and stopped. ssh connection is simply possible after a change in ~/.ssh/config and the lxc commands can be used directly.
Optimal would be a total separation of low-level lxc and Open vSwitch packages from Juju (like goamz) and later the providers using them.
