Hello,

After a good chat with Gustavo this morning, things was going well for most of the day. I lost some time in the middle because I could not make my test actually make the underlying zookeeper connection close properly, until I realised that there are two connections, one that the PA is making, and the other that the test sets up. I was closing the tests' one, which had no effect on the PA's one.

Roger: did you finish adding the makeBucket caching in ec2 or would you like me to take a look ?
