   * Acknowledge testing-security NMU.
   * Modified handling of patches so that patch files whose name starts with an
     uppercase letter are also used. This probably means that the NMU didn't
     actually fix the problem! Oops.
   * Work around problem where attempting to set mtimes on sylinks fails on
     older systems that don't support this (regression in NMU version caused by
     building on a newer system, where configure detects the lutimes() call).
