     1.14.9), accordingly.
   * debian/rules:
     + Apply rules suggested in autotools-dev documentation.
     + Add -Wl,--as-needed to LDFLAGS so that useless dependencies are not
     added.
   * Makefile.am, Makefile.in: Don't build noinst targets.
