tulip (5.4.0+dfsg-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Package adopted by Debian Science Team
  * New packaging repo layout using master, upstream and pristine-tar branches
  * Additional filtering of upstream source where Debian equivalents are
    available.
  * New upstream release:
    * a slight redesign of the graphical user interface, in particular the
      Python IDE and Search Dialog
    * a speedup of the OpenGL rendering engine
    * the addition of the Python 3.8 support (Tulip python wheels are now
      available for Python 2.7, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7 and 3.8 versions)
    * the addition of an 'automatic choice' mode for the Geographic view
      geolocation feature
