[PATCH] fix segfailt on ppc64el

Hi there, the following patch is waiting for a user to finally test
but I am 100% confident this patch fixes the problem as I was able
to reproduce the bug on some kit that I used to fake the same ppc64el
ACPI table config (e.g. no tables at all).

Rather than wait for the user to get around to verifying this fix
on their H/W, I am submitting the fix now so at least we get it
into fwts before the next release.
