I would be +1 for uploading the latest stable release given all the 
recent goodies and bug fixes that have been added, provided we can make 
a good case for this with the SRU Team.

Given we'll be seeing 12.04 for quite a while, I'm all in favour of this :)

Would an approach similar to how we treat stable updates for the kernel 
work here?  Perhaps we consider this model _only_ for LTS releases?
