sudo do-release-upgrade fails with:

Calculating updates

Unable to determine which system updates 
are available 

An unsolvable problem occurred whilst calculating the 
system update. 

This was probably caused by: 
* Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu 
Please use the 'ppa-purge' tool from the ppa-purge 
package to remove software from a Launchpad PPA and 
try the system update again. 

If none of the above applies, please report the bug using the 
command 'ubuntu-bug ubuntu-release-upgrader-core' in a terminal. 
If you wish to investigate this yourself, you will find details of the 
system upgrade in the 
log files under '/var/log/dist-upgrade'. Take a look in particular at 'main.log' and 
'apt.log'.
