Getting the same result in Daily build 20240928

It seems that this bug is the (s)ubiquity equivalent of 1944519, which
has been around for years.

  Ubiquity installer failed to post: restart xubuntu

Bug description:
  At the end of the install Xubuntu went to a black screen, I clicked
  Restart icon went to a black screen. Pressed "enter" OS restarted.

  Ubiquity installer failed to post:
   "press enter to remove disk"

   The installer correctly installed Xubuntu after hard restart.
