Title:
fail to access ubuntu after 24.04 upgrade
Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
After upgrading ubuntu in my dual boot Windows11-Ubuntu22.04 to Ubuntu24.04, logging into Ubuntu takes me to the Dell XPS bios. I am able to log into Windows. I have tried boot-repair in the live disk try ubuntu
without success. I can access my Ubuntu files from the live disk. I have also changed the grub file to uncomment OS_PROBER_DISABLE=false without changing anything. From the bios I tried changing the EFI/ubuntu
file from shim... to grub.cfg without affecting anything. I would be grateful for any help to restore the ubuntu login.
