  upgrade from 22.04 to 24.04 fails

Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  The error message "Cannot calculate the upgrade" suggests that I
  remove all ppas with ppa-purge. Not understanding how to use ppa-
  purge, I just uninstalled all packages provided by ppas, and disabled
  all ppas. Unfortunately, the error remains.
